Cycle Hire

We are an ideal staging post for those completing the Coast to Coast route in a realistic 3 days.

The 102 mile route is one of the most stunning sections of the National Cycle Network. It combines the beaches and superb estuaries of North Devon with lush green valleys of the Torridge, Tavy, Walkham and other West Country rivers.

The Granite Way runs adjacent to us and we have our own private gated access. Cyclists and walkers often use us as a watering hole where they can sit above the trail and watch others ride through the old railway-cutting while enjoying a cream tea or cool beer.

Other traffic-free sections include the Plym Valley Trail and the famous Tarka Trail. The trail starts in the city of Plymouth and finishes in the popular seaside resort of Ilfracombe.

In addition, there are breath-taking viaducts and bridges bequeathed by Victorian railway engineers.

Day rates are £10 for adults and £7 for children.
